Star House is a former public house converted to residential use many years ago. Our clients have lived in the property for a number of years and felt the need to upgrade and remodel the existing rear single storey extension and to rebuild the existing side extension, together with associated work to adjacent rooms. Their aim was to achieve brighter spaces with a more logical and practical layout.

Materials used internally are of high quality, with underfloor heating to most of the single storey areas and with insulated dry lining to the existing external walls to significantly improve their thermal characteristics.

Materials used externally are generally to match existing but with the introduction of timber wall cladding in small areas to provide visual relief.
